With the LedgerUp Slack integration, your AI billing assistant Ari joins your workspace as a team member. Tag Ari in any channel to create invoices, track accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, pull revenue reports, and more.

Installation
Getting started with LedgerUp in Slack takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps:
- 1Create your LedgerUp account
Sign up at ledgerup.ai and complete your account setup. You'll be guided through a brief onboarding to configure your billing preferences.
- 2Connect your billing and CRM tools
From your LedgerUp dashboard, connect the integrations your team uses — Stripe, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, or any combination. Each integration takes just a few clicks to authorize.
- 3Add the Slack app to your workspace
In your LedgerUp dashboard at app.ledgerup.ai, navigate to the Integrations page and click Connect Slack. Authorize LedgerUp to access your Slack workspace, and Ari will appear as a member of your team.
How It Works
Once installed, interact with Ari by tagging @Ari in any Slack channel or thread. Ari understands natural language, so you can ask for what you need the way you'd ask a colleague.
What Ari can do
Create, send, and track invoices. Ari can draft invoices from contract details or Slack messages and send them after your approval.
Get real-time AR aging summaries, track outstanding balances, and monitor payment statuses across all your customers.
Automate follow-ups on overdue payments. Ari sends scheduled reminders and collection emails on your behalf.
Manage subscription changes, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations directly from Slack.
Pull MRR, ARR, churn, and other revenue metrics on demand. Ask Ari for a report and get it in seconds.
Update records in HubSpot or Salesforce without leaving Slack. Ari keeps your CRM data in sync with billing activity.
Approvals in Slack
For critical actions like sending invoices or executing contract changes, Ari posts approval requests with interactive buttons directly in Slack. Your team can review the details and approve or reject with a single click — no need to open another app.
Ari also shares action plans and contract summaries in threads, so your team has full context before approving any billing operation.
Configuration
While day-to-day interaction happens in Slack, admins configure LedgerUp from the dashboard at app.ledgerup.ai. From there you can:
- Manage connected integrations (Stripe, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Set billing rules, payment terms, and collection schedules
- Configure approval workflows and team permissions
- Customize invoice templates and email copy
- View audit logs for all actions Ari has taken
Changes made in the dashboard take effect immediately in Slack. No reinstallation or restart is required.
