Best Salesforce to Stripe Integration Tools in 2026 (12 Tools, 6 Categories)

Twelve tools get recommended for connecting Salesforce to Stripe, and they belong to six different categories that solve different problems. Stripe's own apps, Breadwinner, Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, MuleSoft, Stacksync, Chargebee, Maxio, and LedgerUp, sorted by what each one actually does, with published pricing only and a best-for sentence you can act on.

"Salesforce to Stripe integration" is six different products wearing one name. Ask for recommendations and you will get an iPaaS tool, a data-sync service, Stripe's own AppExchange app, a Salesforce-native billing suite, a subscription platform that replaces Stripe Billing, and a billing automation layer, all presented as the same thing. They are not. A Zapier Zap and Salesforce Revenue Cloud solve different problems at prices three orders of magnitude apart.

This guide sorts the twelve tools that come up most often into their categories first, then covers each one with what it does, where it stops, and a best-for sentence you can copy into a vendor shortlist. Pricing is quoted only where the vendor publishes it. Updated September 2026.

The six categories, and which one you are shopping in

Salesforce Revenue Cloud belongs in the last category and gets its own page: LedgerUp vs Salesforce Revenue Cloud. It is the right choice for some enterprises, and it is not a Stripe integration.

How we evaluated

We checked five things for each tool, using its AppExchange listing, its documentation, and its pricing page as of September 2026, plus what we see when finance teams migrate onto LedgerUp from each of them:

  1. Trigger. Can it act on Closed Won (or a stage of your choosing) without a person pressing a button?
  2. Stripe objects. Does it create customers, subscriptions, subscription schedules, invoices, and metered prices, or only some of those?
  3. Contract terms. Does it read the signed order form, or only the fields on the opportunity?
  4. Write-back. Does invoice and payment status land on the account and opportunity, and does anyone get told when a charge fails?
  5. Cost to run. Published price, and who maintains it after go-live: an admin, an engineer, or nobody.

1. LedgerUp: contract-aware billing automation between Salesforce and Stripe

LedgerUp is the only tool on this list that reads the signed contract. Salesforce stays the system of record for the deal and Stripe stays the billing system. When an opportunity closes, the agent Ari reads the opportunity, the CPQ line items, and the attached order form, and creates the Stripe customer and the right billing object: a subscription for a flat deal, a subscription schedule for a ramp, a series of invoices for milestones, metered prices for usage. It flags mismatches in Slack before anything is created, prints the PO number on the invoice, submits to procurement portals, runs collections on overdue invoices, reconciles Stripe payouts to NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage Intacct, and writes paid, open, past due, and failed status to the account and opportunity. HappyRobot runs it on a Salesforce, DocuSign, Stripe, and Slack stack; its billing cycle went from 5 to 7 days to 15 minutes.

LedgerUp Insight: The workflow described above is one that LedgerUp automates end-to-end. Ari handles the repeatable steps, keeps the source records connected, and routes exceptions to finance for review.

Where it stops. It is not a CPQ and does not replace Stripe Billing. Quoting stays in Salesforce, subscriptions and payments stay in Stripe.

Pricing. Starter is published at $500 a month; Growth and Enterprise are quoted. Setup is 1 to 2 days. Best for: B2B teams with negotiated contracts, ramps, usage, milestones, or PO and portal requirements that want to keep Salesforce and Stripe and be live in days.

2. Stripe for Salesforce Platform

Stripe's own managed package. It syncs Stripe Billing objects into Salesforce as custom objects with a one-click billing data sync, ships flow templates for opportunity-to-subscription, order-to-subscription, and quote-to-subscription, supports subscription lifecycle management, and exposes an integration builder for Flow Builder and Apex. It is event-driven and bidirectional, and it is the app most teams keeping Stripe Billing should evaluate first.

Where it stops. The flows only know what is on the opportunity. Negotiated terms in the order form, ramps, minimums, and amendments need a person or more Flow work, and there is no collections or ERP reconciliation. Product mapping between the two catalogs is the step that stalls implementations.

Pricing. No license fee for the app; standard Stripe processing and Billing fees. Best for: teams whose Stripe catalog already mirrors their Salesforce products and who have a Salesforce admin to build and maintain the flows.

3. Stripe Billing Connector for Salesforce CPQ

Stripe's connector for Salesforce CPQ orgs: quote lines and products map to Stripe products and prices, and an accepted quote can become a Stripe subscription. It is listed on AppExchange alongside Stripe for Salesforce Platform and Stripe Connector for Salesforce Billing.

Where it stops. When we checked in September 2026, Stripe's documentation page for this connector was not reachable, so confirm its current support status with Stripe before building on it. As with the Platform app, it maps quote data; it does not read the signed PDF or handle collections.

Pricing. No license fee; Stripe fees. Best for: Salesforce CPQ organizations whose quote lines are the complete source of truth for billing.

4. Breadwinner

A long-standing AppExchange app that syncs Stripe two-way into Salesforce and creates Stripe customers, subscriptions, and invoices from opportunities inside the Salesforce UI. It holds a 5.0 rating on 13 AppExchange reviews as of September 2026, and it is the closest thing to a packaged "Stripe inside Salesforce" experience without writing flows.

Where it stops. It works from Salesforce data, not from the contract, and it is a visibility and creation tool rather than a billing operations tool: no contract reading, collections, portal submission, or ERP reconciliation.

Pricing. Quoted. Best for: teams that want Stripe records visible and creatable inside Salesforce with minimal admin work.

5. Zapier

The fastest way to make Closed Won create a Stripe subscription: a Salesforce trigger, a stage filter, Find Customer, Create Subscription, and an Update Record back to the opportunity. The step-by-step build is in how to create a Stripe subscription when a Salesforce opportunity closes.

Where it stops. One price per step, no subscription schedules, no contract reading, failed runs in Zap history, and every action in every run counts against the task limit.

Pricing. Free with 100 tasks a month; Professional from $19.99 a month billed annually ($29.99 monthly) with 750 tasks; Team from $69 a month billed annually; Enterprise custom. Best for: one price per deal at low volume, live this afternoon.

6. Make

The same shape as Zapier with routers, iterators, and error handlers that make multi-line quotes and retries workable, at a lower price per operation.

Where it stops. Same category limits: it maps fields and calls APIs. Contract terms, ramps, and amendments are still someone's job, and the scenario needs an owner who is comfortable with JSON and error routes.

Pricing. Free plan; Core from $12 a month; Pro from $21 a month; Teams from $38 a month; Enterprise custom. Best for: ops teams that need line-item loops and cheaper volume than Zapier.

7. n8n

A fair-code automation platform with Salesforce and Stripe nodes that you can self-host. Technical teams like it because the workflow is versionable and the data never leaves their infrastructure.

Where it stops. Everything Zapier and Make cannot do, plus you run the server. Expressions and error handling are code-adjacent work.

Pricing. The community edition is free to self-host; cloud plans are published on n8n.io. Best for: engineering-led teams that want to own the automation and its hosting.

8. Workato

Enterprise iPaaS built on recipes, with Salesforce and Stripe connectors and the governance, logging, and replay that IT teams require. Salesforce-to-Stripe becomes one more recipe on a platform the organization already runs.

Where it stops. Billing logic lives in recipes an integration engineer maintains, and the contract is still read by a human who fills the fields the recipe reads.

Pricing. Quoted. Best for: organizations with an integration team standardizing every cross-system flow on one platform.

9. MuleSoft

Salesforce's own integration platform (Anypoint), with connectors for Stripe and deep native Salesforce integration. If the organization is already running MuleSoft, Salesforce-to-Stripe is a flow on existing rails with enterprise governance.

Where it stops. The same maintenance profile as Workato with a higher floor of platform expertise. It is an integration platform, not a billing tool.

Pricing. Quoted. Best for: enterprises already standardized on Anypoint.

10. Stacksync

Real-time two-way sync between Salesforce and Stripe (and databases and other SaaS systems). Stripe customers, subscriptions, and invoices appear in Salesforce and stay current; edits flow back.

Where it stops. It syncs records; it does not create subscriptions or invoices from a closed-won deal, and it does not read contracts. Pair it with something that does the billing work.

Pricing. From $1,000 a month. Best for: teams that need Stripe data live in Salesforce and already create billing elsewhere.

11. Chargebee and Maxio

Subscription billing platforms with their own Salesforce integrations. Both replace Stripe Billing as the subscription system and keep Stripe as the payment gateway underneath. They are the right category if you have decided to leave Stripe Billing for a different catalog, dunning, and revenue recognition model.

Where it stops. A billing migration, and the contract still has to be configured by hand in the new system. Neither reads the signed order form. If keeping Stripe Billing is a constraint, they are the wrong category.

Pricing. Platform fees published on each vendor's pricing page; the larger cost is the migration. Best for: teams leaving Stripe Billing on purpose.

How to choose

  • Every deal is list price, no order form: Stripe for Salesforce Platform if you have an admin, Zapier or Make if you do not.
  • You need Stripe records visible in Salesforce and nothing else: Breadwinner or Stacksync, depending on whether you also want creation from the Salesforce UI.
  • An integration team already owns a platform: Workato or MuleSoft, with the billing rules written down before the recipe is built.
  • Order forms carry negotiated terms, ramps, usage, milestones, or PO requirements: LedgerUp, keeping Salesforce and Stripe as they are.
  • You are leaving Stripe Billing: Chargebee, Maxio, or Revenue Cloud, and budget for the migration.
The category matters more than the vendor. A team that buys an iPaaS tool for contract billing will get the easy deals automated and the hard ones handed back to finance, and the hard ones are the ones that grow with the company.
